Sight Seeing

ROHTANG PAAS
Rohtang pass is 51kms. from Manali . It offers a panorama and spectacular snow mountains view. Up to pass there are seven tourist attraction point on the way called, Nehru kund, kothi village, Gulaba, Rahala fall , Marhi,  etc. This is only one pass in the world which is always covered with snow though out the year. that ‘s why it called “Snow point”. Manali to snow point  is Solangfull day traveling by Car, Bus. There are so many activity in the snow point  such as , SNOW SCOOTER, SLEDGING , SKIING , HORSE RIDING AND OTHER SNOW FUN. It is a gateway of lahoul spiti & leh ladakh.

SOLANG VALLEY
A beautiful picnic spot on the way of Rohtang. Nice meadows surrounded by silver oaks and spurs. It offers view of snow capped mountains, and best ski slopes in Himachal Pradesh with one and half kilometer rope way. Solang valley is very famous for paragliding through out   the year, you can enjoy horse riding in the velley to natural ice shivling called “Anjani Mahadev”.

Hadimba Temple“HADIMBA DEVI TEMPLE”
A famous and ancient cave temple built in 1550 AD Hadimba is the most powerful deity of the valley. The temple is fouriered with pagoda shaped roof and front doorway covered with figures and symbols. This temple located amidst wooden forest of Deodar is about 2.5 KMS from the hotel.

VASHIST HOT WATER SPRING AND TEMPLE
A village with a beautiful view on the left bank of the Beas renowned for its natural hot spring and temples. It is well known pilgrimage, an account of ancient Hindu temple of lord Ramaand Vashist muni

MANU TEMPLE
2 km from manali mall to old manali lies the temple of “Manu Rishi” it is believed that this is the only temple of manu in India, who was the creator of human race on the earth

KOTHI
It is a pretty little village 12 kms from Manali on The rohtang road. There are very fine views from kothi, and the beas river flows through a very deep and narrow gorge at this point

NAGGAR
On the left bank of the beas and about three hundred meters above the river, naggar is delightfully situated on a wooden slope and commands an extensive view, especially of the north west of the valley. Nagger was the capital of the kullu Rajas for about 1400 years. Artist Nicholas Roerich’s and gallery is worth a visit. Naggar castle which is now Himachal Tourism’s well furnished “Hotel Castle”.

MANIKARAN
This lies in the Parvati valley of kullu District. It is  around 70 kms from manali Via Kullu town. It is famous for its shiva temple and gurudwara. Also known for its boiling Hot Springs. Which is believed to be good for rheumatism, gout, muscular pain etc

Adventure Activities

SKIING
Skiing is one of the most popular adventure sports in Manali and skiing facilities are available at Rohtang Pass. Rohtang Pass near Manali are known for their high peaks, thus forming a perfect destination for Heli-skiers with experience. Powerful helicopters including Bell 407, AS 315B Lama and AS 350B3 Squirrel carry the skiers to the top of a 14000 feet high snow draped slope within ten minutes. They are accompanied by internationally-certified heli-ski guides who are experts in snow safety, rescue techniques and mountain travel. After the ascend by helicopter Skiers and Snowboarders can have a thrilling ride down to the deep valleys through changing terrain, steep slopes and through trees in a wide variety of conditions. Mostly Skiing is done in high valley floors over 2000 mts through Cedar forests and long rolling ridges over four thousand metres high, in clearings between birch and oak forests

PARAGLIDING
Riding the thermals and sailing the blue sky like the Himalayan Eagle can be thrilling experience. Paragliding facilities are available at Solang Nallah and Marhi. Paragliding is organized in Kullu valley throughout the year at Solang Valley, located 14 kms from Manali and other locations like Marhi, Fatru, Bijli Mahadev etc

WHITE WATER RIVER RAFTING
White Water river- rafting facilities are offered by private operators at Pirdi near Kullu where a water sports centre has been set up to provide one stop water sports adventure solutions for the tourist. Rafting on stretches of the River Beas, where rapids of high grades can be negotiated, provides an exhilarating interlude fro enthusiasts. kayaking is possible at Pandoh Dam on the way to Mandi. White water rafting in Kullu valley is done on river Beas from Pirdi (4 kms ahead of Kullu town) down to Jhiri, a stretch of approximately 14 kms. (Period Apr 15th-Jun end). The journey takes nearly one & half hour consisting of rapids from grade II & III
